I simply adored the charming and authentic decoration of the Château de la Vernède. It reminded me of the grandeur and elegance of a bygone era. The general areas, such as the garden and the breakfast room, were spacious and beautifully maintained. I especially appreciated the presence of comfortable seating areas where I could relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. the hotel was easily accessible for senior people like myself, with easy parking options and well-maintained pathways for walking.
It would have been even more perfect if there were more assistance available for senior guests. A dedicated staff member or additional staff training could better cater to the needs of elderly individuals.

I absolutely adored the charming and elegant decoration of the chateau. It felt like stepping back in time with all the antique furniture and beautiful ornaments. The general areas of the hotel, including the spacious gardens, were a delight to explore and provided a serene and relaxing atmosphere. I also appreciated how accessible the hotel was for senior people, with parking available right on the premises and easy access to all areas of the chateau.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to provide a bit more assistance and guidance throughout the stay. While they were friendly, a little more attention to the needs of senior guests would have made the experience even more enjoyable.

The Château de la Vernède was simply enchanting. The decoration took me back in time, with its elegant furnishings and vintage charm. The general areas, like the spacious gardens, were a pleasure to explore, offering tranquility and beauty. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel, with convenient parking and no stairs to navigate. It truly felt like a home away from home.
While the children working there were polite and helpful, I would have loved to have a kettle and tea/coffee in my room. It would have made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.

During my recent transit through Saint-Remy-de-Chargnat, I had the opportunity to stay at Chateau De La Vernede. The location of this hotel is extremely convenient as it is situated just 42 kilometers from the nearest airport. This was perfect for me as I needed a place to rest before catching my next flight. I was impressed with the privacy offered at Chateau De La Vernede. The salon was exclusively for guests, ensuring a quiet and undisturbed stay. It was a lovely space to relax and unwind after a long day of traveling.
While my overall experience at Chateau De La Vernede was pleasant, there was one minor inconvenience that I noticed during my stay. The bed provided in my room was slightly smaller than I would have preferred.

We were warmly welcomed by one of the owners who provided us with great restaurant recommendations. The beautiful castle is located in a peaceful area. The breakfast with fresh fruit, local bread, and homemade jam was delicious. The owners run the B&B with passion and dedication.
Felt great, no complaints at all.

Beautiful and secluded chateau with charming interiors and a magnificent exterior. The hosts were kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of choices including local produce and mouthwatering croissants. The large garden was perfect for a leisurely stroll and provided a peaceful atmosphere.
The hotel does not have modern amenities, so if you're looking for a state-of-the-art experience, this may not be the right choice. the location is a bit remote, so it's important to plan ahead and be aware that nearby restaurants or cafes may not be easily accessible.
